Working remotely? Here are my favorite coffee shops in indiana

Since going full time with my business in November of 2022, I’ve gotten well acquainted with quite a few coffee shops in the local Indiana area that I frequent when I need a change of scenery. I absolutely LOVE working from home, I’m a homebody at my core, but even introverts like myself need a little bit of time out of the house! I focus really well at home, but sometime depending on the type of projects I’m working on throughout the week, I need the background noise of a coffee shop and nice, warm blueberry muffin to keep me focused and zoned in on what I need to accomplish. Can anybody relate? So, I’ve decided to round up some coffee shops in the area for my fellow hoosier subscribers. Let me know which one is your favorite in the comments below!

Noble Coffee and Tea

At the top of this list is a coffee shop in Noblesville that is cozy, charming, and totally Pinterest worthy. My drink of choice here is the caramel machiatto, and I ALWAYS say yes to whipped cream on top. I love this coffee shop because it’s spacious, trust me if you’ve never been before, be sure to look around because there’s plenty of cozy corners and comfy seating to enjoy! This coffee shop sits right on the square outside of the Noblesville courthouse, which is one of my all time favorite views. Across the street you can find plenty of fun spots for shopping and browsing around. While you’re there, be sure to check out Just Lagom to score your next favorite fashion find!

Indie Coffee Roasters

This coffee shop is located in the heart of downtown Carmel on Main Street, and I’m slightly partial to it because of their branding. The dog in their logo is my favorite. They also have a new location in West Lafayette! Indie Coffee Roasters has been roasting coffee since 2013 and spent their early days selling beans at local farmers markets. They have outdoor seating for the warmer months and the space indoors is filled with natural light and a variety of seating options. Whether you need a place to study, cross things off your to do list, or grab coffee with a friend, you can’t go wrong with this spot!

The Well

The Well offers an industrial feel with warm lighting and plenty of seating. Whether you prefer high tops or require a more private space to meet with a group, you can find it all at the Well. With a parking garage conveniently located next door, you can stop in at the Well to finish up your last bit of work for the day and the grab dinner just across the street at Parks Place Pub to catch tonight’s game and enjoy classic bar food! The Well also has just recently announced their partnership with ChildFund, an organization that works to provide vulnerable children with essential such as clean water, medicine, education and more, so if you’re looking to sip some coffee for a cause, you’ll definitely want to check them out!

Roasted in the Village

This coffee shop is located in Zionsville, or as a like to call it, Indiana’s version of a Hallmark town. No matter the season, Zionsville always has a certain charm to offer that feels like you’re in the middle of a picturesque scene straight out of a cheesy holiday flick. If you’re looking for a place to grab a brew and a deliciously bakery treat, you’ll have to hit up this hot spot for a scone and one of their espresso classics. You won’t regret it!

Hubbard & Cravens

This coffee shop was a classic go-to for me when I was a student at Butler University. Studying marketing, I frequented the Broad Ripple Location to work on big presentations, projects and papers. Hubbard & Cravens offers up a warm atmosphere with the sound of indie and folk music wafting through the air. If you’re not a coffee drinker, don’t worry! Hubbard & Cravens carries plenty of teas as well to satisfy even your every craving.

Java House

Java House offers an upscale luxury feel that makes it quite a stand out. With several locations across Indiana and growing, Java offers a posh place to land as you begin a productive work session sipping on your favorite caffeinated beverage. If you’re looking for a bite to eat to accompany your drink, you’ll find their menu is packed with delicious options like bagels, muffins, cake pops, yogurt parfaits and more. The wood paneled walls and marquee style signage evokes a cozy yet modern feel that will keep you coming back for more!
